Previews are simulations

MailProof renders your email HTML in a simulated environment designed to approximate how an email may appear on desktop, mobile, and in light and dark mode. These previews are visual simulations, not screenshots captured inside real email clients such as Gmail, Outlook, or Apple Mail.

Real email clients apply their own HTML and CSS quirks, content blocking, and rendering rules that a simulation cannot fully reproduce. MailProof is a tool for previewing, reviewing, and sharing email designs for sign-off — it is not a rendering-accuracy or compatibility-testing service, and it does not guarantee that an email will look identical in any specific client.

No warranty

The Service and its previews are provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. You are responsible for verifying your email in the actual clients and on the actual devices that matter to your audience before sending.

No liability

MailProof is not responsible for any outcome resulting from reliance on a preview, including differences between a preview and how an email ultimately appears or behaves when delivered. Your use of the Service is governed by our Terms of Service.
